Instructions

This MS Excel Addin developed in MS Excel 97 converts the digit to word (e.g. 123.45 will be converted to 
"Rupees One Hundred Twenty Three And Forty Five Paise) dynamically.  

To add this addin to your Excel worksheet, first save it into any folder in your PC's hard 
disk. From Excel--> Go to Tools--> Add-Ins--> Press Browse Button to select the Inword.Xla addin file from that folder 
and press OK to enable the Addin into your MS Excel worksheet. You can find an Inword button on the right-end toolbar
 with a label "Inword" and one Inword menu will also appear under the Data Menu. After pressing the Inword Button one
 input box will appear on the screen. In that input box you may give the cell reference for converting the digit to wor
 (e.g. A5, means Column A and row 5). The word will appear on the active cell.

EXAMPLE: Cell A1 has value 123.45 and you want to convert the same into word in Cell A2. Select cell A2. Type =WORD(A1) . 
Now in Cell A2 the value will be Rupees One Hundred TwentyThree And Forty Five Paisa. Similar to Function TEXT, DOLLAR, 
VALUE etc. Now, if you change the value of cell A1, Cell A2 vlaue will be changed automatically.). Or you can find an
Inword button on the right-end toolbar with a label "Inword" and one Inword menu will also appear under the Data Menu. 
After pressing the Inword Button one input box will appear on the screen. In that input box you may give the cell reference
for converting the digit

to word (e.g. A5, means Column A and row 5). The word will appear on the active cell.
